After recently rebranding our organization, the next big step was carrying the brand over to the teams under the org. One of the biggest areas to tackle was the IT desks at Facebook. After many discussions and proposals, we rebranded IT as Helpdesk and created its own brand system. Since Helpdesks are physical locations around various buildings at Facebook (both locally in Menlo Park and internationally), and so many employees seek tech help from these, we felt that branding the desks was a great way to strengthen our brand story, as well as establish a consistent look throughout all locations.


Extend the new brand and work on the environmental design—applying the system to physical locations across the company. This meant creating wall decals, banners, and spec'ing out each desk, while working with vendors for the installations.
